These idiots are dumb enough to think they can protest at their place of work and disrupt their companies business and not get fired.

"Google workers have the right to peacefully protest about terms and conditions of our labor," the statement added.

You don't have the right to protest on private property, not to mention you are protesting during working hours that you are being paid to do work.

There's a ridiculous amount of people in this country that don't understand how rights work.

Right to protest means you wont be thrown in jail (unless you were near the Capital on 1/6)

First Amendment freedom to protest, like the freedom of speech, restricts the government; it doesn’t stop private entities from disassociating with you if they don’t like your protest, speech, etc. Them’s the breaks.

Their first mistake was sitting in at the CEO of cloud tech office. Had that gone to a regional director 's office and had their protest... They would have jobs and the sympathetic ear of the CEO... But the NIMBY effect of starting with the CEO... Then you get fired.

If they disagree with the business that much then why stay there? Go somewhere else and correct the job market

These people are hypocrites anyway.

If you think Goole is evil, it didnt start because they have a contract with Israel.

These people are pro hamas.

quote:

“These protests were part of a longstanding campaign by a group of organizations and people who largely don’t work at Google,"

quote:

"A small number of employee protesters entered and disrupted a few of our locations. Physically impeding other employees’ work and preventing them from accessing our facilities is a clear violation of our policies, and completely unacceptable behavior. After refusing multiple requests to leave the premises, law enforcement was engaged to remove them to ensure office safety," the statement said.

The statement about wage protests being permitted was to make it clear the firing did not violate the National Labor Relations Act. Protests relating to the terms or conditions of employment are protected speech under the NRLA. So, the little add on statement was a little insurance.

Yes.

I find it hilarious that the same people labeling everyone they disagree with "Nazis" are throwing their support behind groups who had real world ties to actual Nazis. It's a known fact Nazi propaganda was being broadcast in Arabic throughout the M.E. as early as 1939...

I'd wager most of the dumb college chicks standing up for active Islamic terrorist groups have never heard such a thing....

But it didn't happen when the NFL Players protested at work?

Wonder why...

When you're working for a salary, you are selling your services to the establishment to do whatever they ask you to do.

If you can't or won't deliver the service, that breaks the agreement.

Bingo.

You have to provide value to the production and/or delivery of the product or service of your employer. Some of these individuals don't realize that.
