Just finishing up my masters thesis and its over 225 pages so I want to make sure none of it is remotely plagiarised by accident. Anyone know of a good website or software to check a paper for plagiarism?

I mean, did you plagiarize? If you didn't, what are you worried about?

I guess this is a brag thread about getting a masters.

But admitting to cheating isnt brag worthy.

These threads are so confusing

Plagscan

Plagiarisma

I advise using more than one scanning service.

Most likely your university will use https://www.ithenticate.com/

If you run your thesis through a plagiarism detection site, and then it gets run through after you submit it, will it not then show up as being 100% plagiarized?

I do have to caution you though. Many of the free online services do not have access to the publication database found in ithenticate/turnitin.com

if you plagiarized and your university is using ithenticate, you will be caught

That's what we have to use as well. Papers need to have a SI score less than 20%

When you write something that long and you got over 100 sources that all say the same thing in different ways it starts to run together. Just want to make sure its not even suspected that I did. It can't hurt to check this beforehand

the company that manages turnitin.com built ithenticate. they maintain a database of all submitted works including material not found online. This on top of publications found in the major higher ed research databases

Not sure if I used MLA or Bluebook on that one. Haven't opened one of those in 4 years or so

I was and still am, the laziest citation user. I only used maybe 3 types of cites. Probably why I never got published.
