I agree, around the greens is where it's the worst. A 10-15 hdcpr playing the tips won't really hurt pace of play if they play ready golf and are efficient around the greens.
It doesn't matter which tees you play if you're lining up putts like you're in the US open, hitting 3 shots to get out of the trap, and chipping back and forth across the greens.
