Going with a group to watch a practice round and we wanted to squeeze in a round on that Sunday. Anyone have any experience with the local courses? Trying to book a tee time tonight. Looked at Jones Creek, Bartrum, Pointe South, and Goshen but don't know anything about them. Any assistance would be appreciated.

For your troubles:

Yeah, there's this really good golf course around there that I've heard of:

Course prices are jacked up around there. I'd suggest playing somewhere Nice that's on the way.

Not a bad idea. Though, the highest rate I've come across was at Jones and it was only 125.

Cannot complain. Just finished my last shift at the ski shop in Breckenridge I worked at this winter. Skid as much I use to play golf this winter (day 87 on the mountain today). Heading to Steamboat for a new job shortly starting in April.

Helping build and grow in a new course. Really excited. I'll text ya more details. You won't believe some of it.

Sage Valley. Right outside of Agusta.

It's about as close to Agusta National conditions as you'll find.

Pretty sure you have to know a member to play there. And if not I'm sure they've been booked for a while

It is in SC. But not far from Augusta

Played sister course to Augusta in Aiken,SC, Palmetto, on the Monday before the '98 Masters.

Second oldest clubhouse in the US to Shinnecock Hills.

One of us had family that was a member. It would be worth trying to get on. There were pros playing the tournament that played Palmetto with us to avoid the crowds. Course was in that good of shape. I four putted 3 times as a 12 hdcp.

Course was designed by Alistair Mackenzie
