I do OK from tee to green, but like most amateurs fall apart around the green. Really looking to shore up my short chipping and pitching game. Anybody have some recommendations for lessons in BR and about how much it would cost?

It's the arrow not the Indian. Just buy new clubs. The technology alone will add distance and accuracy

I would say 85% of pitching and chipping is Feel and practice. It takes a lot of practice shots to know what a ball will do once it hits the green. I would youtube some chipping tips, then get a shag bag of old golf balls and practice

Talk to Tiger about this.

Also, you'd probably be best off seeing maybe a chiropractor. Sounds like your glutes aren't activating.

I've been looking for some QB lessons in BR. My intermediate passing game has been struggling as of late in intramurals. Its frustrating!

I agree with you, just that when I practice I'm all over the place and have no clue what I'm doing. I have a hard time making crisp contact when not taking a full swing. I think by taking lessons it will at least give me some things to work on that I know will improve my short game.

How about you just work on some short game practice.

Practice, practice, practice.

Good stuff here....also read some golf magazines and try to incorporate the "theory" of what they're saying into your game.....don't try to do it exactly like Phil or Tiger or whoever......oh yeah and practice chipping with the SAME ball you're going to play with, not range balls so you get the same reaction.

Definitely take some lessons, but this Adam Scott piece is the best short game article I have ever seen for Amateur level players:
