going to Lafayette next weekend for a wedding in which my g/f is standing. I know next to nothing about Lafayette and will be on my own all day Friday and want to play. What are my best options? I've heard there are some good courses over there. Hook me up with some suggestions.

I'm a fan of The Wetlands and The Farm. Vieux Chenes is ok. Haven't played there in a couple years since they reworked the greens.

Kafka, the baws play at Vieux Chenes. Hence why I don't really play there anymore

The farm or the wetlands. I prefer the farm. Hell you have all day, play them both. I'd go hit with you but I'm gonna be on vacation playing in South Carolina

Don't go to vieux chenes. Especially on a Friday. Pace of play is miserable. I do like that course though

The Farm has the old greens from Oakbourne, was great last time I played.

Stay away from Vieux there front 9 greens aren't in great shape. I'd go either farm or wetlands.
