so how many auto claims? i don't know much about roof damage but i've seen what actual golf ball sized hail does to vehicles and i don't see much talk about that in this thread.

Brah, it was in AP, not City of St George, people park their cars inside and not all trashy like in the driveway.

Damn, we got nothing at my place just off of Duplesis Rd. Looks like we dodged a bullet.

people would be crying about their vehicles in this thread if it was really golf ball size hail ... like i said to the poster earlier that risked a concussion to move his truck out of the driveway ... another said all three cars were in the driveway .. all three cars would be fricked up if it were golf ball size .. he never mentioned that .. all i have done in here is point out the fact that i think this is an exaggeration .. some have gotten upset about that for some reason ..

The video I saw was about half mile from SJP and looked like a violent cluster frick. But was not golfball sized. I Def wouldn't have stood out in it.

Are you just ignoring the link I posted earlier from a news source showing pictures of half-dollar sized hail in addition to the radar showing estimated hail sizes for different areas?

That hail in the Sherwood Forest area in 2008 was about quarter size. I looked at hundreds of roof and never saw anything bigger...

In NOLA in the late 90's we did get hail that was golfball and even some tennisball size. On my car the back windshield was shattered and if IRC 4k damage to my car. The vinyl siding on the windward side of my house had holes in it from where the hail puntured it. The hail also completely blew out the glass on my kitchen window, the only window that didn't have a screen in it. All the other window screens were shredded and ripped apart. Of course the roof was a total loss. I lived in the City Park area, I'm sure others remember that hail storm.
