Wife and I want to get away next weekend and think we are going to head to Biloxi...

I want to play Fallen Oak but there are no rooms available at Beau Rivage, is there a way to play there without staying at the Beau?

If I can't get on there, are there some other nice courses around?

Lots of decent ones. Preserve is nice but kinda pricey. I like Shell Landing for its price as well

Since you're willing the pay the coin to play Fallen Oak, I'd give Shell Landing or Grand Bear. I would say to call The Preserve but I believe they are in week two of their aerification process and they shut it down for 2wks. The Oaks isn't terrible either. I almost forgot,,Windance is always in great shape and they punched the greens about 3wks ago so everything should be good. Wherever you call, I'd ask them when they aerated.

Shell landing is nice as well, also Windance usually has a few spots open, though just a notch behind the other mentioned IMHO.

The coast has turned into a top notch golf destination.

Keep driving to peninsula from Biloxi.

Great shape, nice staff, greens are perfect.

The preserve
Grand bear
The bridges

Those are the top 3 I think

The oaks is in decent shape but it's not really that picturesque of a course.

I usually just play the Bridges over here in BSL, but it's been a while.

These are probably the top three after The Fallen Oak. All three take a distant second.

Shell Landing in Ocean Springs was good when I lived there 8 years ago.

The Bridges is for sure.

Y'all should have dinner and drinks in the Bay as well.

Boot ... Call the Palace and set up a golf package. I stayed for 160.00 ish a night and got a round of golf at Preserve. Smoke Free Casino and in Biloxi.

I've heard The Preserve is nice, but I've never played it. Grand Bear is the best course for the price, as long as the greens are in decent shape. The layout is awesome The greens were a little rough the last time I played it.

Windance and both Diamondhead courses are in really good shape and relatively cheap. Haven't played The Bridges in years, but I remember it being nice.

The Oaks is garbage and I've heard nothing but bad things about Shell Landing. A guy who plays with us (At Windance) lives on the course at Shell and rarely ever plays it.

No love for Gulf Hills? Certainly the most convenient.
