In fact, first golf tourney ever.

Could someone please provide tips to doing the Zurich right? Parking, bring chairs?, etc

TIA

They'll park you put in a median far away and bus you in, no chairs.

Walk around and watch golf shots. Some from the tee, some to the green, some where they're ~200 yds out. Follow some popular golfers, or hot chicks.

Went today, had a good time, I'd get the acme tent tickets. We followed Tom's and Smylie for a few holes, then perched at 8 green, can see that and 9 from there. The only food if you don't have a special ticket is the 19the hole and it's all walk-ons now, a few sandwiches that were probably made yesterday, not very good. If you want to sit, outside a seating area, bring a chair, ground was soaked from all the rain yesterday.

Well there's right, and there's cheap. Right would be the acme tent or the suite tix and a parking pass (on median across from the course)...cheap would be getting a 4 ticket package from Zurich website, parking at the Alario Center for $20, and taking the bus back and forth. (A real nightmare at the end of the day)

Watch t-shots. You can get crazy close at some Tees. So stand near an empty one (it'll be empty when no names are hitting) later good golfers will come through and you will be right there.

Watching a pro golfer tee off is amazing. The sound and ball flight has to be seen in person. It can't be described.

How expensive is the parking pass? I'm assuming too late to get one anyway...?

FYI. According to the website you can bring the chair but NOT the chair bag. Just tie a string on the chair as a shoulder strap or carry old school style.

0/2 isn't too bad.

OP, parking depends on what type of pass if any you have. You can pay $15 to park at the Alario Center and be shuttled from there. It's not bad at all.

You can bring fold out chairs, as long as you don't bring the bag.

Don't dress like a doofus. Don't be loud and obnoxious when close to golfers.

Do enjoys some cold beverages and some good food. And be ready to be jealous of how easy the pros make the game look.

Meh. I spent a grand total of $60 once inside the gates today and had plenty of booze and two food items from the 19th hole. You don't need to do the $100 plus tickets to have a good time for the day and catch a buzz on the course.

I didn't say you couldn't bring chairs, but I wouldn't. I like to cover too much ground to be saddled with that crap. We parked in a median when I went, but that may have been some sort of VIP thing.

You said no chairs. Sorry you fail at communicating.

My buddy has a ticket but is being a huge choad and is choosing to go help his girlfriend's brother move instead.

Sky box tickets to be exact.

Seems REALLY lazy. You'd have to love fairway shots to just setup and sit there. Plus, usually there's action going on in more than one direction.

Go pick the tickets up from him

But going to the Zurich is best when going with at least one other person. You have to really love golf to go it alone. Just did it today, so I know a thing or two

That area is fricking expensive. Our owner is on the board for the Zurich and took us out because of how much it was costing. They need to rethink the price to attract some people back to it.

There are concession tents scattered around. You can get your choice of burger, hot dog or wrap. Chips and a soda for $10. Domestic beer is $5. Stella is $6.
