About a year ago I would walk from my house to Aline St. Beer Garden because it was close and a friend of mine worked there. A lot of nights it was just me and him. I drank and we watched whatever game was on. And he charged me. I wasn't drinking for free or anything.

I have once when me and my old lady had our first big fight. I drove around till I saw the neon light of the corner bar and I just pulled up cause it seamed right. I walked in He asked me what'll it be? I said the good stuff.
He didn't turn around for the whiskey, he didn't pour me a beer. His blue eyes kinda went misty and he said you can't find that here. Then he lectured me for another 5 minutes and I left even more pissed off.

I have watched football games solo at the bar. Just sat at the bar counter pounding some beers for the Saturday afternoon kickoff. THe added benefit was i eventually got to date the waitress, basically the only bar that had razorbacks on the tv back in the day. Other than watching sports, i wouldn't go to a bar solo unless i'm at the airport and need to get drunk in order to fly

Why not, i used to go down and sit at the bar by myself when my buddy bar tended. Free drinks,food, and chicks always come in to see the bartender. Especially the ones with game and are decent looking, so it was always a win, win.
I get drunk and fed for free, we head over to 3am bars after his last call, with the ladies.

I agree, but that was covered in the OP's pros section. I'm not sure what other opinions he is looking for.
