Title pretty much says it all. Maybe less than $1,000. Travel is out due to health issues.

So anywhere from $1 to $999?

Schedule a family picture of your entire family and have a nice meal after the session at their favorite restaurant.

Nothing more than this. Kids don't buy anniversary gifts in my family. That's for the couples.

Are they Catholic? A papal blessing makes a great gift. Got one for my parent's 60th.

I had a bunch of their friends send videos and added a Cameo video from a C list celebrity they are fans of. Made a 5 minute video and took them to dinner. They loved it

Aura photo frame. Kids and Grandkids can upload pics to it from anywhere at any time. Less than $200.

This is a great gift idea for Catholics. I did this for my parents. It takes a lot of lead time to get one. In my case a Vatican office even contacted their local Parish pastor where they were members before issuing it. I assume the contact with the local pastor was to verify that they were active practicing Catholics before issuing it. Just in case that the Vatican office still does this background check, I would advise their local pastor that such a check might be asked of him. You should also budget for a nice frame to place it in.

My wife (no-pics) set up an interview on camera with my folks interspersed with pictures throughout my parents life and put together a great video that they played at their 50th wedding anniversary party. It went through their childhood when they met and major life events in their own words. and set to music at times. It is a great way for them to share their story and a great memento for future generations. If you have a family member with some talent to put something like this together and enough time it would be a special gift for them.

50th anniversary is traditionally the golden anniversary, so something gold would be worth considering.

Gold chargers for place setting, gold stackable ring and gold pocket knife, gold picture frame with their wedding photo framed.

I rented a limo and had the driver take them to look at Christmas lights with champagne and the grandkids. Had a nice dinner waiting when they returned. Helped that they were early January anniversary.

We got ours a grandfather clock. We were going to take them out to a nice restaurant with both of my out of town siblings coming in for it, but Hurricane Katrina ruined that. They did like the clock though.
