70th anniversary of VJ Day and both of your networks ignore it tonight?!?

I hope the person who made this decision chokes on a bag of dicks.

People don't understand the magnitude of WWII -- hopefully they will never have to experience that kind of thing

Funnily enough, VJ day is a part of the reason VJ day is not on TV today. See, had we been beaten by the Japs and Germans, there would be no VJ Day or USA. No USA means no average dipshit American TV viewer that prefers Ice Mud Butt Pirate Loggers over actual history.

I'm up at the lake and away from any TV, but have you checked H2? I've notice a lot of times it has better programming, that actually has at least something to do with history, than the original History Channel. I'd also check American Hero's Channel as well. I'll bet they have something on to commemorate VJ Day.

H2 is playing Modern Marvels or some shite like that, Darth. I checked.

In fact I haven't found any programming on WWII so far.

I've boycotted them until they have a 24 hour Shelby Stanga marathon.

VJ Day? Pfft.....

Who'd want to think about not having to send 500,000 American's to their death's in an amphibious invasion of Japan when you could see Big Hoss almost screw someone out of a '53 Telecaster played/owned by Buddy Holly, James Burton, Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page, all of whom autographed it, but for Chumbley's somehow screwing up the deal.

Come on y'all, get you freakin priorities and chit right. I mean when's the last time YOU saw someone pretty much steal a '53 Tele.

Wouldn't it be easier just to say what it is.
I understand that clever little put downs are important on this site.
Still, wtf is VJ Day?
