My wife stays home with our kids, but she sure as hell worked to begin with.

Making your wife work is trashy.

Couldn't disagree with you more. A life outside of husband and kids keeps the wife from going insane. There are plenty of jobs that allow a woman to balance a family and a career.

My wife has a bachelor in civil engineering, she will do very well here.

It will take her time to get used to life and living in the US before venturing into the job market. I have already enrolled her In the MS program at the University of MN.

I dont rec buying two new cars. I'd stagger that to where you always have a new one when the other wears out.

Whoever downvoted that is going bald themselves and insecure about it.

Word of advice phantom balding downvoted: more women are turned off by your insecurity than the actual balding itself. Own it, have a sense of humor about it, and maintain your confidence abd you'll still be able to pull just fine. The only thing women are attracted to more than confidence is money.

I quit a (relatively) high paying job to pursue a passion project a couple weeks ago. I'm getting married in 2 months.

Did you have to pay for a marriage visa?

2 cars

Try to wait until next month. You can get some good discounts if you can find some 2017 models on the lot. The last two I bought were in the month 0f Nov. and between the two I saved $8,000. They were anxious to get their year old models out of the way.

First one I bought was 2003 model. Still got it. Second was an '08, still got it but will probably replace it in about a year.

Being married is not so bad, have done it a couple of times, being old, I am have also lived through several economic downturns which were worse than divorce because even though you lose half your money, you are still married.
