Wife, car, car, house.

You can save a lot by getting them all used.

Getting married is going to ruin the house purchase, the car purchase, and the other car purchase.

Moved from Nola to bum frick Pennsylvania after having a child. Had to get new house, new furnace and ac 3rd month in new house, new cars as we only had one in Nola because we rarely drove and therefore had a cheap piece of shite that we just left behind. Been lotsa money spent but the worst is over and debt free but mortgage just this month.

Unless either of you have kids, that's honestly no big deal. Just don't spend more than you have. Life before kids is vastly easier than after.

It is by far the most stress you can experience. Wait when kids are added.

I did the close to the exact same thing in 2012. Got married in may. Closed on our house in November. Bought the wife a new car in December (her lease was up. I hate leases but she did that before we were dating). I bought a new truck in January because mine had like 300k miles on it. My credit took a beating

Go for it. Chance of the repo man coming for the cars before next spring are low. If the new house has an enclosed garage... maybe several more months

ETA I'm OT pors

I've made the mistake of reading this entire thread and am convinced that you are a god damn idiot.

Do you and her not already have cars? Why TF do you both need new cars?

She's "not going to work for a while"? What the hell is wrong with her? Or is she just ripping you off?

I could go on, but I'll leave you by saying, I hope she takes you for everything you've got, because that's what you've set up for yourself. fricking dipshit.

Be honest, have you met her yet?

I feel like the OP is trying to brag, I just can’t figure out about what. So he’s got a mail order wife, and financed a couple of cars.
