I have illegal tint. I have never had an issue with it. Even been pulled over and the cop didn't say a thing about it.

I'm not saying it doesn't suck, but like someone said, you took a gamble and lost. Simple as that. I think it sucks when I get a speeding ticket and think maybe I shouldn't have, but I was ultimately the one breaking the law.
Maybe he couldn't tell if you were black and up to no good or not.

How do you get an inspection sticker with illegal tint? Thought they were supposed to check that?

I got one for that, too. About 6 years later the cop that gave it to me got in a wreck in his cop car and died. Why? He wasn't wearing his seatbelt.

They really have cracked down on it for sure within the past few months, shutting inspection stations down left and right for writing stickers for vehicles with tint

Fair enough. Back when I lived on the wank and my first car was a Mitsu Eclipse. I just rolled up into the hood spot off of Lapalco and paid 10 dollars for them to gimme a brake tag. No questions asked.

No trust me i knew there would be the usual your still breaking the law comments which i honestly do understand, but it seems like there is more things to worry about than a guy driving down the road doing the speed limit with dark windows, like i said if i was speeding then yes write it all up, as far as learning my lesson the tint is stripped but im not going to fish bowl completely, it will have some extent of tint on it

I wish they would give more tickets out for this. Why do people feel entitled? It's like for some reason they think the rules shouldn't apply to them.
