Getting a ticket for just window tint

Am i the only person that thinks it is a dickhead move for a cop to whip his unit around and pull a person over just for window tint. I can understand if a person is speeding or comes up to a seat belt check and has dark windows, but to be driving the speed limit not doing a dang thing wrong and get pulled over just for having dark windows in my eyes is ridiculous

As someone who used to have 5% all around on my Yukon, it's just dumb. There's no reason to have your windows tinted more than stock unless you have a medical condition.
The law may be stupid, but it's a pretty damn easy law not to break.

Fight it on the grounds that pulling a person over for ONLY tint doesn't meet the required standard for a stop. Since the officer has no way to know if you have a legal exception, he's assuming you might be breaking the law and he stops you find out if he's correct. It's not totally unlike officers stopping open carriers to check if they're felons "just in case."
Of course, you don't have a constitutional right to window tinting unlike carrying a gun, so you'll probably lose. But if you do fight it on these grounds please update with how it turns out. I'm genuinely curious.

You live in Livonia baw. Oddly enough the only time I ever got a ticket for tint wayyy back when I lived in LA was driving through fricking Livonia!!!

Window tint is trashy. Should have spent that money on truck nuts.
