I'd like to see how their manual transmission feels on a Quattro sedan.

sorry. the 2017

Other coupes I've looked at. Subaru BRZ & Nissan Z

The 135 was pretty quick as well. I'd have no shame driving this:
Quick sure, but the lines and proportions are atrocious.

2015 Mercedes C300 Sedan
That car is pretty boss. Google it and check the images out.
Also, check out the 17-inch split 5-spoke wheels that are standard equip.

Same Mercedes C300, optional equipment:

The 1M was one of few cars (maybe the only car) to be released in the last 10 years that appreciated in value.

The top of the line trims aren't bad. The CLK63 AMG Black looks amazing:
The C63 AMG looks good too...good sleeper car.
ETA: fixed

Pay no attention to him. He shits on everyone else's post. But won't post any examples himself.

It does, but buying the absolutely most expensive bottom of the line Merc doesn't do it for me. Give me the E class that costs the same and I'd take it every time. Rather a BMW, but I still think Es are classy.

I got to drive one of the first 2015 c63 in the country. Pretty nice.

C isn't the bottom of the line Merc.
That's an odd, to say the least, line of thinking. So you'd rather have a 2008 e350 with a diesel motor than a CLK63 AMG Black Series?? I mean, they are apples and oranges...but throw practicality as a requirement out of the window - that's insane reasoning.
I don't consider any luxury car bottom of the line. I look at it more as people having champagne tastes on beer budgets. "Hey look at me, I drive a Merc/Benz/Audi!!", and it's a base model CLA, 2/3/4 series, or A4/A6.
I know a few people like that too. Personally, if I can't afford exactly what I want...I'd rather get bang for my buck. Example: If I can't get a 425+ hp C63 AMG, I'd maybe shop a Scat Pack or SRT8 Charger than settle on a regular C...slightly more car, but similar at it's core and way more options for the money.

So an expensive version of:
Posted on 7/6/15 at 8:59 pm to jordan21210
We all buy what we like, and I'm not sold that I need 450 hp in a car. I'd rather a 250 hp car on a super solid chassis with quality components. I want it to last, and I want the style to be palatable for many years. The edgy sports inspired stuff looks great when it's new, but that appeal never seems to age well, to me. I'm just one old shmuck though.

I'll take a Japanese car over a German car every day of the week.

You have to mean A3/A4 - A6 is definitely not an entry level luxury sedan unless you only consider luxury as Mercedes S, BMW 7 or Audi A7/A8.
