George Zimmerman punched in face for allegedly bragging about killing Trayvon

Channel 9 obtained the calls made by George Zimmerman and his friend.
911 dispatcher: “What started the argument?”
Zimmerman: “He recognized me. He told me he was going to kill me he told me he'd (expletive) shoot me and he punched me in the face.”
Zimmerman claimed he was explaining to people sitting at a table that he shot Trayvon Martin in self- defense when a large man approached and asked, “You're bragging about that?” before punching him Zimmerman in the face.

I'm not upset that he took Trayvon out of the gene pool, but his actions since getting set free prove to me that he is a nutcase who probably instigated a lot.

No, I don't think he implied any of that. He just made an observation given the tendencies of this board. And he is right. Someone taking what he said the wrong way was probably also pretty predictable.

WTF? Do you know enough about TM to make this statement? Didn't Zimmerman just start following him, he called the police, who told him to stay in his car but instead Zimmerman tried to go play supercop. More than likely he was getting his arse beat and said he shot him in self defense?
I sided with Martin in this case, but some of it was based on my assumption of GZ. I saw him as someone who needed to have some type of authority, he was head of the apartment complex watch team. I honestly don't remember all the details, but after the case was over he had been in the news for all kinds of stupid shite, like beating a girl friend, etc,etc.

you aren't allowed to punch someone for something they say but it is not surprising Zimmerman lacked the judgment to understand he should not talk about that stuff in public - not because it is wrong or illegal but because someone may respond aggressively.
