Q: @GenChuckYeager General, what did you think of the Israeli AF during the 6 day war in 1967? Ever go to Israel and talk with their pilots?

A: I did. They were arrogant. Thought they knew more than I. They learned. The hard way.

Q: Good evening @GenChuckYeager
What was the toughest plane out of the ones you shot down? Made you think "Jeeze, die already!"

A: None. Too busy shooting down others

Q: @GenChuckYeager getting a mercury 7 capsule tattoo. Thoughts?

A: Why?

Q: @GenChuckYeager @TazetyTrueblood you should have been one of the ones that went to the moon

A: I didn't want to wipe the monkey crap off the seat before I sat down

Q: @GenChuckYeager Do you have any tattoos worth mentioning? Maybe Göring ambushed while on the pot or something more creative?

A: None, other than the ones from shrapnel & burning face mask

He goes on and on.

This is a verified account. His answers are incredible. Chuck Yeager.

It's Twitter and I'm on my phone with the app. So, don't have the link. Just type his name into Twitter.

Very brash, many people today will be offended by his old school discourse.

He probably is a little bitter. He's the GOAT and they wouldn't let him try out because he didn't have a college degree. Dumb.

He's not the GOAT but he's damn close.

I recently watched The Right Stuff again.

The Mercury 7 couldn't hold Yeager's jock strap

The only American to ever travel faster than light, there's never been a more impressive human being. Elon Musk should be learning from this guy instead of making stupid interviews promising impossible shite.

Here he is at age 89 on 65th anniversary of breaking the sound barrier. He is suited up to ride backseat in a F15 and repeat the flight.

Glenn didn't have a degree either.

From what I heard, if he really wanted to push he prob could have gotten in.

He wasn't really interested due to the lack of actual piloting of the craft.

Never met him, but did meet a lady who was one of his companions at the Happy Bottoms Riding Club.
