Frontier Airlines... Yes or no for flight to Denver

Let me start by saying that when flying I view airline travel as a means to an end.. Sort of like a bus ride. I've flown the major airlines but really can't see the differences between them and (for example) southwest. With that being said, frontier offers dirt cheap rates for nonstop travel between new Orleans and Denver. I see that bags are extra charges, but are there any other concerns/tips when flying frontier?

I flew them to Seattle. No complaints at all.

Not a fan....also they have a crappy scheduling/booking system on their website.

You said it's a means to an end, but then you question should you fly it?
It's a flight that will take 2 hours of your life, they aren't going to torture you so it should be fine. Don't think you understand what a means to an end actually means though

Its a good airline to fly. The planes are in better shape than American or many of the Delta flights out of NOLA.

Price is all that matters.

I used to live in Seattle and flew them all the time. Loved it.

I've flown them before, no complaints. Flew my dad from Denver to Portland this summer for 79 each way. Can't complain about that.

I normally do southwest nonstop to Denver for ski trip. However frontier would be half the price of the southwest flight. Flying the whole family (5) so that would shave about a grand off of the total cost of the trip.

If you're ok with southwest then you'll be fine on frontier

You realize youre gonna have to pay $30 per checked bag on frontier. Plus $10 per seat per flight if you want to choose your seats and sit together. Plus frontier charges $40 for carry ons.

Used to fly Frontier all the time out of Little Rock to Denver.
Denver is the main hub for Frontier

Frontier was fine a couple years ago when their business model was more like southwest

You'll be fine on Frontier unless the plane crashes.
