Should have used the inverted torx head screwdriver and saved a lot of money.

Also chainsaws dont cut metal.

You don’t think the towing co. Records when and where they put the boots? When they don’t get a call back they go and check. Then they forward a warrant of missing property with the authorities tied to said vehicle.

Had a friend get one, he just put the spare tire on and wiggled it off when he got to my house. Its still in my garage.

I’ve always felt it the most effective chop, but I’m somewhat unorthodox.

You have a trashy friend who has elevated a misdemeanor traffic/parking ticket to a felony.

Congrats

So he went to home depot and got a chainsaw with a carbide blade?

And if it took him an hour and he was using a standard chainsaw he would have had to change the blade at least once, not to mention he would have been stopped within an hour. A policeman would have passed at some point.

I'll admit I know nothing of car boots but let's say hypothetically the boot is not put on right and you can just pull it off but if it is assigned to your car are you responsible for the boot?

Then if They come to your house give them the boot back. You didn’t damage it. They chose to attach it to your property. Hardly can be considered theft.

Or just take the tire off, wiggle it off and leave it where they booted you.

Yeah, they add something like $450 to your bill that you don't have to pay.
