Jesus. You cut the whole cap off. Next time try just taking a thin layer off the end. Do it by placing cutter flat on table and standing cigar on end.

I'm about to light up one. Contemplating the choice. Hoyo DE Monterey is likely.

I haven't had a nub before. I saw Cigars International was having a deal on them this week and thought about picking some up. Are they pretty decent?

Aside from hacking up a lung, what would I expect to experience from a high quality cigar?

You don't inhale, so you shouldn't hack up a lung at all. Smoke a cigar like you'd drink a glass of wine. Pull the smoke into your mouth, roll it around, focus on the aroma and taste, blow the smoke back out. You may experience a nicotine buzz. Avoid smoking it too fast, as that can lead to feeling nauseous. Enjoy! Not much better than a nice cigar and a glass of whiskey.

They're decent but I think they are a bit overpriced

I'm watching David Gilmour Live in Gdansk. Frigging awesome.

And a Chesty quote:

Freaky coincidence.

Trying to find live video of PF from circa 1973-75 but can only find audio. The doc I was watching has some cool clips but wanting more.
