He didn't give you pain meds?

If you can't get someone to prescribe meds, you might be SOL until then besides just drinking liquor.
Few years ago I broke my wrist but I didn't realize how bad it was right when it happened. I planned to go to the doctor the next day. That night was one of the worst pains ever, I couldn't sleep at all. When I did go they prescribed me a painkiller which was awesome, I would usually take one and then take a small pull of liquor and would feel outstanding. I guess I'm rambling now, but I guess outside of just splinting it and keeping it immobile, the only thing you can really do is put some ice on it or something. I don't know.

if you don't want to take the medicine that a medical professional prescribed you for pain, then don't bring your dumbass on here asking the best ways to deal with pain.

Smart man. I have a family member that died that way. Go get some Goody's Arthritis powder and take it with maybe half the pain pill. Goody's Arthritis is awesome in ways not widely known.

Taking pain meds when you have an actual medical need for it isn't gonna get you hooked. You are taking them for what they are designed for.
Only take them when you are in pain. If you are worried about getting "hooked" throw out any extra ones you have AFTER you are all healed up.

Depending on your feacture, you might have a cast for awhile. Broke my wrist and had a cast for 3-1/2 months. And when the cast came off that wrist, hand, arm was weak for a good while.

This.
Getting hooked on 20 pills is pretty hard to do to start with. Just don't go get a refill.

The Jesus advice would be to cut your arm off:
"And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell."-Matthew 5:29

Smoke weed. It's better than addictive pain meds

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.

If someone is too nervous to take prescribed pain medicine for fear of getting hooked, do you honestly think they would have any weed just lying around the house?

You could maybe find an urgent care open this weekend. Depending on your insurance will be like a $50 copay. They should be able to give you a script for something to last you until you return to your doctor Monday.
