I have only used it as an attempt to test just how much damage they have done, since the change a few weeks ago. I discovered yesterday that now they will even shuffle music that I purchased through Amazon. I own the rights to play the songs on their platform and they won't even permit me to play those songs.

This has to be one of the worst decisions I can imagine.

I'm expecting the service to die out quickly, but I have been wrong before.

Isn’t that what Pandora does?

OMG it fricking sucks now.

They literally took the best free music app and transformed it by combining the worst parts of Pandora & Spotify.

I spent a ton of time organizing my playlists based on workouts, work, etc... and it's all fricked up now.

The amount of times they change which version of a song you can listen to which destroys your playlists because every month half the songs are grayed out even though the song is available just in a different version is infuriating.

No idea. I've been using Amazon Prime Music for like 10+ years. No reason to use Pandora.

I'm probably going to get a Youtube Premium account at some point. Looking that up is what made me think to make this thread.

Dude I was fine with Amazon Unlimited songs coming and going as greyed out. The switching of the random songs and then adding music that was NEVER on my playlist is really bad move by the developers.

Bought my daughter those expensive Sony noise canceling headphones last night for Christmas and they came with a free 4 month subscription to Amazon Music.

I opted out.

Once you switch to YouTube premium you never go back. I can’t imagine having to deal with ads when watching podcasts or other videos!

Once I started Spotify I never gave anything else a chance.
I can make playlists,
Download the playlists so I can play the songs even when I have no service, and the recommended songs are pretty good

I’m not sure what else you would need

Haven't seen an ad on YT in years. My adblocker still works.

But I figured I may want to start watching it on my Roku

When LPOTL and Rogan went to Spotify I used the free version but raged b/c it didn't permit offline listening for free (google podcasts does).

Same shite with Amazon Prime Music. It was "free" (part of my prime sub) and I could download for offline listening. No need to pay for Spotify.

I deleted it a few months ago. Never liked how it seemed like anything I requested was a weird version of the song.
