Dude. That is every mid 30s with kids marriage. Why would you want another women and start the process over again? Don't put your kids in a bind. Start hunting or something and bring your kids. That will give your wife a break, and great one on one time with your babies.

So you're a normal mid30s couple who had 3 kids and now that the kids are old enough to leave the house for long periods you have to readjust to each other?

That is marriage...when children are in play then the adults need to grow up and place their self-centered ways on hold...weather the storms and pick-up where you once were once the children are grown

It is expensive...paying 2450 for two kids but my ex is a teacher so I may be paying more than normal. Being single again is awesome.

Serious question, how often do you have sex (with your wife)?

I wouldn't spend that 2/3rds just yet. Child support is a bitch and if that woman isn't working, you'll likely be paying alimony also.

If you are expecting instant improvement, don't.

It will be tough for a while after the divorce.

The older the kids, the easier the transition. If the kids are young, good luck. You made it 15 years. Live with your decision for the kids, and then call it quits later. You're quite young.

I've had this same thinking...although I didn't get married until I was 30 and I just turned 35....kudos to you for lasting 15 years...frick this lifestyle

My brother did alright for himself in his divorce. My whore of an ex SIL was cheating on my brother with my nephews teacher. She was sexting him pictures and banging him at my nephews school in the parking lot. The jody's wife sent my brother all of the pictures and text conversations so my brother had plenty of ammo. He tried to do counseling for the sake of my niece and nephew but she wanted no part of it. He offered her half of the savings and joint custody with him as primary custody. She tried to get more, but she was unaware that he had the pics and videos and messages. Once he told her that he was going to show the video in court of her finger blasting herself and other related info, she backed down and signed the agreement and left. She tried one time to take him to court for spousal support, but her lawyer advised it would be in her best interest to continue with the agreement she signed. He is remarried and is actually happy which wasn't the case for about the last 3 years of his marriage. She also did some other wacko things before the divorce was finalized but those are topics I will not share.

Financially ruined me. If I could go back, I would have solved those problems.

There is hardly any time for bangin. Maybe average out to once every 3 weeks or so.

15 years of marriage. Big family. Sounds good.

Why? You're being cryptic which leads to...

...me thinking you're being shallow and selfish. I don't want to doubt that your wife as issues as you say, but this is a very one sided and thin explanation for your marriage problems.

I would say this will not go well for you if this is the case you present in your divorce.

"Uh, yeah, I want to bang younger girls, take vacations, and not take care of this woman I'm 'married' to."

Ill bet you 100:1 odds That's why she's angry all the time. You have to make time.

And before you say, but she always says she tired and not in the mood, again, if after 15 years you don't know what puts her in the mood you haven't been paying attention.
