For those of you working office desk jobs - how do you stay coherent all day?

I'm spending this summer working an office job. 730am-3pm, and I'm dying in the afternoons. I can barely think straight let alone get much work done.
I'm usually pretty good in the mornings, but sitting all day is really starting to be a grind.

I work. It's a lost art in America today.

I would listen to music throughout the day and take frequent TigerDroppings breaks. I had no idea how invaluable the babe threads were until I started working in an office.

Caffeine.
Lots of it.

I come in early, stay late, and take an eight hour lunch.

Doesn't get better with time.
Get all your work done by lunch and browse TD the rest of the day.

Coffee in the mornings
Drink water out of 12oz cups so you can get up and take a walk every half hour or so.

Podcasts/Music. If I can focus on something else other than the fact that I want nothing more than to GTFO, it helps a ton.

Take walks and breaks. I'm at a computer screen all day, and drink lots of coffee and water.

I can only imagine the time shown on the OT when they pull the report.

Find a reason to get up occasionally and walk around. Go talk to someone instead of shooting an email or making a phone call, etc.

I typically have to take a short nap when I get off to transition to my normal life of going for a run, gym, being active, etc. Its like I'm mentally worn out from doing nothing all day.

If you buy enough candy from the IT guys for their kid's fundraiser, they usually look the other way when you look up pornography or racist propaganda.
