None of those places are going to have a juke box on on a weekend night I don't think.

Red Eye is a young crowd. I used to hang out there in the late 90's/early 2000s because all of my friends worked there and I know the owner well. Haven't been in a long time, but I'm sure its still a young crowd. You will have fun there and there will be very good looking college girls.

Lucy's will be packed, it leans slightly older than Red Eye.

Carousel is a hotel bar, its a VERY famous place, and more upscale than those places, but still a great time.

F&M's/Grits is for 2-3 am and on the opposite side of town.

No sure. Haven't seen or heard from the family in a while. My dad works with one of them.

eta: well i forgot you're staying uptown. F&M's may be more feasible. Warning its just a lot of drunk college (and high school) kids.

Gotcha. Literally all of my friends worked there, so I was there a lot. So I in turn saw JC a lot. Played basketball with him a few times. I am terrible. He is pretty darn good for an old man.

I agree. F&Ms/Grits is too young IMO, but since he's staying uptown it may work out better.

Its a shitshow, that's for sure.
