That's awful. Maybe use lighter fluid instead.

Why is someone in Tampa needing to keep a fire going? It probably was a low of 65 degrees

Like 3% of florida fires are actually for warmth. Could've just been burning Ian debris.

my dumbass so. did this once.
except he threw the van backwards before the flame reached the can, so he didn’t get burned.

unfortunately, my house was behind him.
can hits back wall and ignites everything.

fortunately all it did was melt all of the siding and that thin foam insulation shite off it.

lucky for him, the cops and fire dept showed up less than a minute after i did so i wasn’t able to really wear his arse out.

diesel isn’t nearly as explosive as gasoline.

douse your wood with diesel and it usually lights even slower than using lighter fluid.
just a steady flame that grows until it’s all lit.
no real “whooooosh” or anything.

I agree there’s a connection between people that would get the vax and throw gas on a fire

Just pour into a cup first and you'll be fine. Never directly out of a can.

Never pour gas out of the can straight into the fire.

Always pour it into a cup then toss on the fire

I guess I’ve only done it when the fire seemed completely out. Never had it flash up on me but could have been some embers I didn’t see. Always think about it and try to be quick. I’m talking like in a small fire pit though that went out, not big bonfire. Had a buddy burned trying to relight a grill, was out of lighter fluid and poured some gas but he just got some burns on his hand and forearm. Yea, cup would be much smarter

Eta: He was trying to quickly pour a little gas before his wife saw him and bitched at him :lol He thought fire was completely out and was looking back while pouring making sure wife didn’t notice and bitch about having gasoline flavor food

I bet it was non-ethanol. That shits fire. Sprinkled some on a brush pile, maybe 1/2 cup all over. When I lit a paper towel to throw on it, whoosh.

Always pour it near the fire, then make a trail of gas that you drop a cig into

Sr year of college we were camping and had a nice fire going. It was cold so everyone was in gloves and sleeves. Friends brother was with us, he was a freshman and stupid drunk.

We had a generator with us so we had a gas can. Dummy decided to fill a solo cup with gas and pour it into the fire.

Well, the fire got into the cup. Somehow he dropped it but not before setting his gloves and long sleeves on fire. It was one of stop drop and roll scenes from the videos they show you as a kid.

When the dropped cup hit the fire, we had a nice fireball shoot straight up. It knocked two girls out of their chairs.

Good times.
