I got good advice on Weighted Chins in the thread this past Monday and applied the advice. Now looking for feedback for my Weighted Chins this morning. Took off 20 pounds and focused more on control. Let me know if this is better

are you training biceps or back? that is more of a bicep exercise... widen the grip without using reverse to focus more on lats

That dead hang at the bottom puts the first 50% of the lift on your biceps.
Overhand, open hand, wide grip will work your lats more. While also giving a bicep pump.
When you can do sets of 12 with 1 minute rest. Start adding weight.

Liar! That's the most you've ever done and you just wanted to brag about it. Nobody is impressed with that shite.

I've struggled in the past with figuring out when to add weight and how much to increase per week. How many sets of 12 before you start adding? 3?

1 minute rest come on man
On my core compound lifts (which include Weighted chins/pull ups) I rest 5 minutes between sets

For those saying overhand pull-ups instead of chins work the last more, that is false. Chins recruit the same amount of the back muscles as pull-ups and should be the preferred method of pulling due to the amount of muscle recruitment it involves in the other muscles including biceps. Now if you want to work the lat tie I.e. The lower lat, than do super wide grip overhand pull-ups but other than that, do chins.

Golden nugget looks much better but damn you are still spastic. Are you like this on bodyweight chins or can you hold your body in a straight line and go real smooth through the movement? Honestly you drop the weight completely and practice bodyweight chins and film it. Compare that film to those on YouTube.

You call them "chins" instead of "chin-ups" because your chin never gets close to the bar?
