Lights on, fog machine running, lots of candy but not one trick or treater. Last year was weak, but trick or treat has finally died in my neighborhood.

I wish someone had brought a bus full of polite kids to my neighborhood.

We had some good candy too.

I think it must have been slow in most parts of the city. We have bags of candy at my office because everyone said it was slower than normal.

Same here. Not the first year it's happened, but trick or treating is dead on my side of Southdowns.

Trick or treating is mainly done in suburbs nowadays

They must have seen the fliers with your face on them.

Same Here - We usually run out of candy early.

I had 3 groups of 4-6 kids all night.

It would have made better sense to do this Saturday night.

This sounds like one of those good problems.

I live in one of the (few) nice areas in town, but you're right, a little subdivision outside of town is where the trick or treat action is.

Even kids in good neighborhoods all get together and go to other neighborhoods in large groups. So you either have a ton of kids or no kids.

Almost no trick or treaters. Not sure what to do with all this candy. Legit stuff like snickers and heath bars too.

I bought a 95 piece bag of assorted - butterfinger, baby ruth and crackle. Thought that would be enough but just in case I bought a large bag each of snickers and Reese's peanut butter cups. At the time I thought it may be overkill since it was on a weeknight this year.

I ran out of candy and had to turn the lights off before 8:30. There was a lull and I looked at all the candy and thought I was going to have a lot left over. Not long after, the shite hit the fan.

I didn't count them, but if there was 95 pieces in the assorted bag I must have had 50 trick-or-treaters or more being that I gave all that away and two other bags.

We ran out by 7:15. Got absolutely blitzed by groups of 4-6 non-stop from 6:05 to 7:15. We had four big bags of hersheys, m&ms, heath, butterfingers, reeses, and gummy worms giving 2-3 pieces per kid. I was not alone though, shut down at 7:15 and walked around and everyone was out of candy, but still had gumbo, chili, and beer on my street. Don't know where all the kids came from, but they were all polite and seemed to have a good time.

We had a solid good group (damn they started early - around 5:45 this year ). I live in the city though where the neighborhood is pretty compact and walkable.

4 times busier than last year I think primarily to most of the surrounding neighborhoods flooding. It was crazy this year. Good times!
