see what happened at my trashy arse school (it was quite trashy, you are right there) was 2 dudes get in fight in parking lot, it eventually get broken up after a few minutes, then they decide to meet at the local swimming hole in the dirty arse creek to finish it off and everyone piles into vehicles and race to the swimming hole to form a circle to watch the fight

Nothing wrong with this fight. The two kids didn't use weapons. No one jumped in and ganged up on one another. The blue shirt kid didn't beat the crap out of the red haired kid once he was already knocked out.
I'm 61 years old. Kids fight. Plain and simple. The only difference from when I was in school decades ago from now is that we didn't jump one another, hit someone from the back, nor use weapons. This was a fair fight.

I know a school can't stop kids from fighting, but you gotta admit, fighting for that long would logically be a concern for parents for no person of authority to be around. Of course, I'm assuming it's during school hours and not far removed from the school, if not, disregard.
Yea, it's normal and no big deal...until something tragic happened, which we see from time to time.

Yes there was. School grounds are in no way appropriate for a fight to last that long. Trading a few hands is fine. A protracted spectacle such as this has no positives associated with it and the kid that was knocked out could have been severely injured or died. Would much rather see the PE coach break it up and then force them to put gloves on and box later on.

They'll find a way to fight somewhere. How large of a school is it? Does Byrd high school have a big enrollment? You can only watch so many areas and students at a larger school.

You can't prevent kids from fighting. Sometimes you can break it up, but you don't have teachers around all kids, all day.
It's a fight between two kids. Nothing more. No one shot, stabbed. This has been happening since early civilization.
