I mean, that "cosplaying" - which is just a euphemism for dressing up like a fricking cartoon character as an adult - is now an accepted hobby for grown-ups. Between this and the Pride Whopper I give us about 8 years before sharia law takes over.

The girls that go to these weirdo fests like comic con fall into 3 categories:

1. Chicks that are average or below and can't really get attention in every day life, so they go to these things that're 95% dudes, put on a slutty costume, and pretend they're hot

2. female neckbeards, those girls that look like haybales

3. Models in slutty costumes that're getting paid to advertise mountain dew and doritos and stuff

Moral of the story: "creepy" just means "ugly". If some dude they wanted to bang said this stuff they wouldn't be complaining

also why are these chicks on the internet without showing their tits?

Dressed up as Capt. Picard, but with breasts? Call me an insensitive cisgendered bigot if you must but a 10 year old Cold Cous Cous would have found that deeply confusing.

So let me get this straight. Women get dressed up like this....

and this...

and this...

and especially this...

...and then get update that men "objectify" them?

That right there is woman logic for you.

i don't even care about cosplaying

but if you're going to be a reasonably attractive female throwing your tits out around a group of nerds, you're going to get some responses that you'd expect from nerds trying to talk to reasonably attractive girls

First off, the feminists are like level 1000 attention whores.

quote:

you're not exactly hanging around well-adjusted people who understand normal social norms. many, i'd wager, are sexually-repressed nerds

This is a given. I find it hard to believe these women don't know they are just as weird and huge nerds as the guys.

quote:

it's shocking how any male could assume that the clothing CHOICES of these women could lead to a sexual response (even if 100% mental)

but even that dave chapelle link uses the term "whore"

the first set of pictures in the OP is much, much more neutral than a term like "whore"

"are you married?" being the CREEPIEST thing a girl has ever been asked while cosplaying is a sign that progress has been made, not a sign of the inability of (again, sexually-repressed, maladjusted nerds) males to act properly

Most of those didn't seem any creepier than what might be said to a girl out at a bar or some party. I'm not saying they're not creepy, but I was expecting something more outlandish.

The way I see it is that some things are only creepy if the woman isn't attracted to the guy that says them. Then again some things aresimply just creepy.

I liked your analysis and review as much as the article itself.

No doubt soon we are likely to see one of the offending nerds with a sign. "Go objectify yourself".

God I hate those pictures of people holding up signs. Dixie Beer 25 cents a bottle in the student Union in 1973
