Fed Ex delivery question

I'm out of town and I'm expecting a big package and I got this notice when I tracked the package "Customer not available or business closed". I live in a townhouse and the package was supposed to be delivered today. I'll be back home tomorrow. My question is, will they try to re deliver? They could have left it at the front desk, but it doesn't seem like they did.....

Just ran across this situation yesterday, but we live in a house. Did the driver put any kind of tag/notice on your door? I had one and it said I could pick it up or they would retry 2-4 times. Also had the option to sign saying it was okay to leave the package.
FWIW, I just went and picked it up.

I don't know if they left a sign on my door because I'm out of town. I'll be back tomorrow

Do you really think FedEx would be as large as they are if they only tried to deliver a package one time before they returned to sender?

You can always request that the package be delivered to one of their stores and pick it up there.

Yep they will try again. If you think it will be an issue, just log on with your tracking number and ask them to hold it at the FEDEX location and then go pick it up during business hours.

This, if you have the tracking number you can re-route it to your choice of Fed Ex stores at FedEx.com

One time I had a large grill delivered, I was out, they left it at my door.
Another time I had a $1,200 watch and they wouldn't leave it without a signature.
I don't know what their exact policy is. If it's just ups seems like they leave everything.
