Man does this take me back to my childhood. Loved reading these and still probably the best cartoons by far.

To say The Far Side was a cultural phenomenon would be an understatement. You could not go a single day without a reference back in the day. IMHO, these are EASILY THE GOLD STANDARD.

that set looks awesome

don't think I can bring myself to pay 135 though.

I'll give you 50 for yours though.

I like mine.

It's awesome though...the books are high-quality books and the pages are glossy and all that shite. As weird as it may sound, it's a pretty upscale set (of books about ridiculous cartoons).

I never paid a lot of attention to C&H, but always enjoyed it. But it wasn't until about ten years ago that I actually realized that it was a kid and his stuffed toy tiger.

I bought that same book at my school's book fair too. It's at my parent's house somewhere.

I have a number of books from the early 80s (along with my Bloom County and C & H's). Broke them out for my kids to read and they could not put them down.

Just ordered the complete FS for them for Christmas. I'll be hero dad!!!

not a fair comparison- C&H v. Far Side. Far Side's humor was far more twisted than C&H.
