"The parents of a California woman killed in a seemingly random shooting at a San Francisco pier said Friday they are focused on healing and not the fact the man accused of shooting her has been deported five times."

"Kathryn Steinle’s father, Jim Steinle, told reporters he hopes justice reigns in the case against Francisco Sanchez,45."

"Sanchez has seven felony convictions and has been deported five times to his native Mexico, most recently in 2009, federal officials said."

It is ok to come in this country illegally and do illegal things while you are here. End thread.

Is this a thread to take issue with a victims family's politics.... Or much more likely... LACK of political finger pointing following the senseless death of their daughter?

Now...

Cue all the illegal immigration apologists who will point to this and argue that should end the discussion about the scum's immigration status.

Who will then wheel around and decry white racsim and the Confederate Battle Flag despite the family members of the people killed in Charleston actually preaching forgiveness.

Yes it is. Most police won't even ask questions anymore. A real slap in the face to actual citizens of this country.

If that's their attitude about the circumstances of the murder of their daughter then they should just get over it and move on like good little sheeple. In that grand scheme their lives and the life of their daughter mean nothing compared to the rights of criminals to invade this country and wreak havoc on its citizens. Just move on - nothing to see here.

Honestly how else would you expect them to react. They need to heal and going after the felon who committed this crime does not help them heal.

Exactly. If they say politically incorrect things in the wake of this murder, they will be attacked by the SJWs. They don't need that in their time of grief.

Conformity of thought is rewarded. Dissident voices are suppressed. This is the state of our society in 2015.

This is what the PC movent is all about. Making good little civilians who are rebuked for expressing alternative views to "progressive" society.

Am I a fake Christian for wanting to protect my family and others from murderers? It's not about retribution, it's about protecting everyone from becoming future victims. No need to kill him for this, but every reason to lock him away and give him the opportunity to come to God in prison where he can't hurt others

Here's the problem with illegal immigration. They aren't locked up in the US, they are sent back to Mexico with no other punishment. And if they were able to find their way here before, they can do it again. Our prisons should be used to detain criminals while they are a danger to society, illegal or not. Prisons are for our safety, not simply punishment for criminals

You really have no idea of the ramifications of what you are talking about. You want to lock up them up and call them criminals, guess what that means? They now have access to the court system and the right to be represented by an attorney. I can't imagine how much it would cost to expand the federal public defenders office if illegal immigrants were given the right to counsel.

Sanctuary Cities are part of The Liberal Orthodoxy. To be a voice of dissent against The Liberal Orthodoxy would be a betrayal of The Faith, if one were a True Believer (which we obviously don't know at this point). Many people have the ability to avoid uncomfortable facts and truths their entire lives in the service of their faith, whatever that faith is. Be it Orthodox Liberalism or any other Fundamentalist belief system that subordinates reality to ideology.

Regardless, prayers to them. It's the worst thing imaginable.

Really? You want your tax money to go towards housing and feeding illegal immigrant criminals? You can jump in a lake with that. I wish the situation in Mexico wasn't so desperate that people risk their lives in order to get out of there, but that's the survival instinct for you. Of course there will be some bad apples. It's unavoidable. Did you know the 9/11 terrorists were here legally?
