Sorry, Cosmo. Don't know why yours got anchored. Everyone give credit to Cosmo for being first so he doesn't get sad. Image: http://cdn.arstechnica.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/iphone-event-640x494.png
Start time is 12 noon Central, 10 Pacific. Complete Rumor Roundup from MacRumors.com
Looking like this is going to be an iPhone only event (with possible mention of iPods). No new iPads or Macs today.
Expect two new iPhone models dubbed the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. The C stands for color. That's right, they're naming an iPhone after me. Image: http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new/2013/09/low_cost_iphone_render_colors-200x200.jpg
The iPhone 5S is rumored to come with a fingerprint reader built into the home button to unlock the phone without a passcode. It is also rumored to come in the usual black or white with a 3rd gold option this time around. It is also said to have an Apple custom made A7 (quad core?) CPU. Improved camera, all that other good stuff. Image: http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new/2013/09/Manuel-iPhone-5S.jpg Image: http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new/2013/08/gold_iphone1.jpg
The 5C is looking like it will have the same internals as the current iPhone 5.
I'm expecting the new iPhones to be available next Friday.
iOS 7 will be featured today and I've heard it will either be released this afternoon to current iOS users, or next Tuesday.
New Apple TV software is also rumored to be unveiled today.

John Gruber prediction:
My day-before best guess on what we’ll see tomorrow: new 5S takes over the high end spot in the lineup. The new iPhone 5C takes the mid-range spot currently occupied by the 4S, and the 4S quietly hangs around for another year as the third-tier model. I now think the 5C is replacing the plain no-letter iPhone 5. But don’t take my word for it, I’m heading into this event mostly in the dark.
I hope everyone that is waiting to get a new iPhone is pleased with what is announced today. Just remember, no matter how awesome it is or isn't, Android did it first. Apple is playing catch up, and this new generation will surely bring the whole company down. I can see the Onion headline now: "Apple makes shitty phone, Android enthusiasts scream their phones were shitty first"
