Former NBA basketball player and current Beijing Ducks guard Jeremy Lin called out President Donald Trump for “empowering” racism for Trump’s use of the term “Chinese virus” to refer to the coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the globe. “I wish you would powerfully support the vulnerable people that will suffer due to our mismanagement of this virus, including those that will be affected by the racism you’re empowering,” Lin wrote Wednesday from his verified Twitter account.
quote:

“The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus,” Trump wrote. “We will be stronger than ever before!”
Well technically Jeremy....Trump is right

Jeremy Lin displays why the term "racism" has little of its original meaning these days.

Jeremy Lin needs to stay in his lane and maybe focus some of his energy on helping the Chinese people not be mistreated and killed by their own government.

China had the opportunity to potentially nip this thing in the bud but they harassed the doctor that discovered it, threatened him into silence, and refused to acknowledge it was a problem until it was too late.

frick China and frick their corrupt government.

If he bows and scrapes enough, they'll let him stay.

Jeremy, you’re still not relevant and this won’t help you get signed by anyone.

Just go away.
