I have this Casio Protrek and love it. It's a large case watch but titanium so it's feather light.

These watch threads always fascinate me.

Are watches for boys like shoes are for girls?

Yes, for men that appreciate the finer things in life.

OP does not want an automatic marathon to run lawn equipment.

I broke my diver automatic medium in two days.

I everyday the marathon small diver auto. It's a damn nice watch. I'm just nervous about wearing it while doing anything involving impact or vibration with it on. It broke the 2nd day I had it while I was roofing my camp. Still not sure why it broke since I wear it on my left wrist and do everything right handed. The mainspring broke.

I guess if I was going to spend $700 on a quartz watch, the 41 TSAR would be it.

Crazy that the stainless bracelet is free. I'd go that route, for resale value, then just put a nylon band on it.

Marathons and Panerais were really trendy 10years ago, guess Louisiana is still behind the times.

The bracelets are extremely nice. That's probably my favorite thing about mine.

I'd get a seiko for a real true automatic beater though.

If I got a seiko I think it would be a kinetic, just so I could use it to set my automatics.
