What watch forum do you own? I'll check it out. And, FWIW, the poster doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. He probably owns a Rolex date just.

A springbar and tool will cost you $10. You can change it in 2 minutes yourself.

Solid movements and durable cases, but the gas tubes fall off after a few years.

Keep in my mind my occupation and I also own a lawncare and seamless gutter company. I need sowmthing that is going to stand up to the elements.

I take my nice watch off whenever I'm doing something that may damage it. The biggest threat to it is doorway jambs.

I'll be pretty upset if the tubes fall out of mine. They're fantastic

Yeah, I like the heck out of the watch. It took several years before the first ones fell off. I had it repaired and wore it some and then I lost a few more.

I imagine whatever adhesive they are using is failing or drying out.

Still, a real solid movement.

Good watch to wear while working, hunting, camping, etc. outdoors. I'm a sucker for the INDIGLO Night-Light.

You can get this one for right at $40.00 on Amazon.

Seiko SKX can be had for $200.

I bought one on Amazon for $180.

It quit on me after about a year. I took it to a certified Seiko jeweler. He said it had a broken part and charged me $125.00 to fix it. I ordered a metal band for the summer and had it put on.

I wore it for about a week and it quit running again. It's been sitting in a drawer for about a month now.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll bump here.... I would be pretty easy on whatever I end up getting... Was looking at Martenero today and thinking about snagging either ascent or marquis as a day in/day out wearer.

Any feedback?

I have a Rolex Submariner that I use as my daily watch or for casual attire.

It gets the job done.
