We use to walk to school in the rain while streets were filling up with water. Now people want to cancel school when it drizzles. Bunch of pussies.

Big time. I've almost stalled out in much less rain. There only a couple of bad areas but they're between me and the edge of the neighborhood so they can't be avoided.

Today is my kid's first day of kindergarten at a new school. This is some super unsafe and shite weather to bring him for the first time in. If EBR is gonna cancel, they need to do it soon...

frick that. I drove 45 min to high school on that big snow day back in 09 WITH a roach in my finger tips. Pulled in unscathed

The schools as a kid were the safest buildings to be in. Bad weather was never a reason to close. If you couldn't get there, you missed a day and life went on.
