Don't make the mistake I did and do the classes alone. I got laughed off the dance floor at the club during my solo fox trot : (

No, just two step and Jitterbug. I'm too fricking white to have any natural rhythm or dancing ability so I needed the help. Took the classes with my girlfriend at the time. It was fun, but I still can't dance without looking retarded.
My girlfriend appreciated my effort tho

Cotillion from 6th-8th grade, dont remember a single class but the parties were fun.

Went on a cruise a month ago or so, and every time I saw these 2 old couples, they were dancing. I think they literally knew every single type of dance. They were amazing...made me and my wife want to try out a class. We haven't yet, but we plan to.

I took the KIN Ballroom Dancing class one semester. Learned a lot. I would really like to continue ballroom dancing with the SO; it seems like a good, healthy couples hobby.
ETA: saw at least one guy say he was considering taking a class. Go to the Ric and Melanie Seeling Studio. They're phenomenal.
