17th birthday. Consumed an entire fifth of Southern Comfort. I learned that night that the term "blind drunk" can be literal. That was over 25 years ago and I still can't drink Southern Comfort.

Yes fifth of absolute vodka whenever GF and I were fighting in high school. Ended up puking everywhere in my bed when she came over later that night an tried talking to me. Bed was pretty gross the next morning

Yes. Only polished off a handle once and I thought I was going to die. Took about 24 hours to move without getting sick. That was sophomore year of college. Never again.

Maybe not raging drunks, but it whispers of problem drinking. The fact that so many that post here are raging drunks doesn't mean that drinking half a fifth is social drinking.

When I was in high school there was a guy who shotgun'd a 5th of Jack one night. He woke up from being passed out in the back of someone's truck and started howling at the moon. For a while he alternated between laughing and howling at the moon then hitting himself (he benched around 300 so a couple of our skinny asses had to literally sit on his arms to stop him. His g/f came over to talk to him and he talked with her... with his eyes closed the entire time but swore they were open.
Since the howling wouldn't stop, we brought him out of town. He eventually opened his eyes, just in time to try to attack the bonfire we had built because he swore there were Russians in it (this was in the 80's). He also tried to attack my truck's back tire, no idea if that was Cold War-related or not.
Moral of the story: he got seriously fricked up.
