lol we dont drink every night and dont down a whole bottle when we drink every time thats for sure.
maybe 2 times a month we will go hard when the kiddo is at grandmas. so yea and no one i hung out with in hs was drinking.
plus i hate beer and tasted my first beer at 16 because i was curious and at the hunting camp but the bud light sucked arse and i never drank anything else till i tried vodka...lol

Because I lived in a little middle of nowhere country town with little else to do on the weekends. Party out in the woods or someone's house when their parents are gone

Saying they "will drink" and "it's no problem" shows that this is something they do regularly. In fact', he just admitted to them pulling a bender every other week just about. Sounds pretty regular to me.

My ol lady and I will kill 3-4 bottles of wine no problem. We drink like ones every 3-4 months.

Doing something on a steady and set basis is the definition of " regular". They're getting drunk every other weekend. That's very "regular".

Again, I don't doubt that having 8-9 shots every couple of weeks is "normal" here...but it's not social drinking. It's alcohol abuse. Maybe not addiction...but certainly abuse.

a 1/5 is 10 shots each and in taken in 6-8 hours does not seem like alot last time i checked. it is if it happens every week maybe but every other week at the most doesnt seem regular to me. it could be only once in a month it all depends when our schedules line up but yea you get the point.
