Half his age plus seven is the rule. He's close enough.

As long as the chick is out of undergrad or 22+, I don't think it matters much.

Maturity levels among women under 28 vary a lot. If the chick is 22 and mature, then go for it. She's probably awesome and still impressionable enough that you can mold her personality into something great (in a positive sense, like helping her make good financial decisions and such).

Glass is always the exception and not the rule. Which is why he's my role model and hero.

prob gonna get disagreed with, but I dated a 21 year old when I was 28 and I swear that's a different generation. Her and her friends just act and talk different than we did at the same age. Oh and they are all lazy as frick.

The older you get the less it matters.

IOW, if you're 50 and she's 40, no big deal.

If you're 30 and she's 20, its gonna be odd.

Sex is great in either case, so there's that.

A 93 year old man goes to see his doctor for a physical and he tells the doc that he is engaged to get married to a 19 year old girl.

The doc says, "Well, Bill, as your physician I feel obligated to advise you that with such an age differential the rigors of sex might prove to be life threatening."

The old man thinks for a minute and then tells the doctor, "Well, doc.....if she dies, she dies....."

Charlie Chaplin endorsed this opinion.

He married his 4th wife - Oona O'Neill - in 1943 - he was 54 years old - she was 18. They had EIGHT children (of his 11 total) together until Chaplin was well into his 70s.

The oldest of those eight, Geraldine Chaplin is the mother of actress Oona Chaplin, who played Robb Stark's wife on HBO's game of thrones - yes, Charlie Chaplin has a TON of grandchildren 50 and under (despite having been born in 1889), and even has a child under 52 years old, Christopher Chaplin, the last of his children (also with Oona) - born when Charlie was 73 years old.

That old dog...

Exactly. At this point in my life (26) I will not date someone who I cannot bring into a bar.

If I am not married at 30+ I will promise you I am looking for girls who are still 23-25.

Late 20s, sometimes early 30s is the best age in my experience. They're no longer idiots, but they're not bitter and totally crazy- yet.

I have to agree with this. I think its the over-reliance on electronics or something.

It's ok for a white girl to breed a black man but I can't date a 21 year old if I'm 30
