Whoa, chill out guy. I know and love a lot of smokers, and battle nicotine addiction myself. I was pointing out that refraining from smoking right next to an entrance is about basic respect for others' health.
"Snowflakes" get upset over words and ideas they don't agree with. Cigarette smoke does affect a lot of people - regardless of their ideology.
The smokers I know are more considerate of the fact it can make people ill or uncomfortable.

Next time you approach an entrance where people are smoking, just hold your breath and walk right through it..
The things you listed there's not all that much you can do about. The people smoking in front of an entrance, you can do something about.
And your position is kinda like saying that if you're ordering a McD's extra value meal you should get regular soda "because you're already eating a lot of calories". Fact is, that soda is still another 400 calories no matter what other items you're ingesting.

Thank you. I'm definitely not a snowflake. My kid had RSV as a baby and had asthmatic symptoms for a couple years afterwards. Smoke made it worse. My friends and family that smoke respected that. It doesn't make me a fricking SJW to point that out.

but the difference is most people will laugh at a person for ordering tons of food then getting a diet soda...save calories when you can

I don't throw around a word like "trashy" lightly, but this is quintessential trash. I only have anecdotal evidence, but the folks I know or see who smoke outside of a business or hospital are the epitome of trash.
Whether that would prevent me from doing business is another story altogether, but it's an awful look for a business.

Nope, not trying to upset anyone. I'm just passing the time between OT and the Political board...it is fun when I am bored but certainly not a crusade. Disagreeing is actually fun, but I won't be labeled a snowflake. It's all good, no hard feelings!

Not at all. That's a huge pet peeve of mine. I always throw away/clean my spit cups. I'm very self conscious about spitting in front of people because I know how gross and nasty some people think it is.
Just like smoking in the doorway of building and businesses.

It doesnt "bother" me but I don't really think it looks good I never let my employees smoke anywhere but out in the back by the dumpster myself included.
