Neat but I'm not impressed. Was in a tornado this year (NOLA East) that was much cooler.

Barely noticeable difference in lighting in Baton Rouge.

Let us never forget the solar eclipse of 2017: the day 1:00PM actually looked like 5:45 PM

It was one for the books, ladies

It was supposed to peak here at 1:36. About 10 min before it clouded up dark as shite and started raining. I didn't get to see the eclipse dammit

I get it.. it's funny because you're acting like you're blind from looking at the sun

I was the only one here at the office with glasses.

Quite a bit of people looked through them but I was surprised that some were standing right by me and didn't care to take a quick look.

Felt that.

the light had a dimmer hue to it.

It looked like 5 pm as opposed to 1 pm...neat, but not amazing.

I appreciate life, but I "appreciate" this for what it was...a 75% eclipse here. This was just, as others said, neat. Unless you looked at the eclipse through the 3D movie glasses, you wouldn't have really noticed it was happening.

The hype for this was like Mayweather/Pacquiao...and then it was just "neat".

Awesome picture burst of seven images superimposed showing the International Space Station during the eclipse.

My only regret is wasting $1 on glasses. It wasn't worth it.

Watching the places on NASA TV go total eclipse live was pretty cool but our partial was more or less a bust here.

Must have been taken through the glasses, because the sky never got that dark here with a 75% eclipse.

It pretty much looked like 5:45 or 6 here.

We had 81% and it cooled down maybe 5 degrees. You could go outside without sunglasses which is rare in South Florida in the summertime. The cool thing was the leafs making the crecent shape shadows.

Picture obviously taken through glasses because it did not get dark in Thibodaux.
