4000 level business elective called Retailing. I can't even remember what the class was supposed to be about. We just listened to the professor talk about retail-related topics that showed up in the local newspaper (ie a new clothing store opened up or Starkville can serve alcohol on Sundays now). There were no exams just a handful of tiny writing assignments. On the last day of class, the professor came dressed as Santa Claus as he was "famous" for being the town Santa.

Intro to college. Took it over the summer. Half the class was football players, so that should tell you about how hard it was.

We had a one credit friday class that was called "music in performance". It was essentially different types of musicians coming in and playing music for an hour, followed by a 5 question quiz about it, of which the prof basically gave 1 or 2 answers. You just couldn't read the paper during it. And you could take it up to 3 times...I got to exactly 120 credits because of it

We used to call it "clap for credit".

So, I guess it wasn't dumb, it was kind of awesome.

Art History

Looked at slideshows of old works of art for 90 minutes and had to memorize the name, artist, and date for the test.

I took bowling, as well. There was only 1 test, and it was to see if you knew how to do the scorecard.

I took Western Civ I and II at a community college. The professor was one of my all time favorites, but every exam gave a maximum possible score of 150 points. The last 50 quests on the exam were bonus questions, and you got 1 point a piece for getting them right. A friend of mine somehow managed to score a 54 on one of his exams and to this day I am trying to figure out how that is possible.

Southern Politics. Another extremely cool professor but the subject matter bored me out of my mind. It was pretty much a recount of every governor and senator who served from every southern state since their inception.

Race and elections.... Sullivan.

Figured it was about running in elections. Was about being black.

I made it my mission to destroy that class. Was the semester Obama was running for president.
