From what I have read, Ketamine should only be used with patients that are suicidal. It has a 50% success rate, which is remarkable, in making these people A LOT better. It is a schedule 1 drug.

I don't know. I'm sure your wife is very good at her job. I am too. But you know who is better? Junkies.

Seems that they'd have found it and those ingredients would be locked away with key board duster and sudafed.

Just heard a news blurb that Ketamine is being looked at for depression. Lol.

There's actually some really strong studies coming out that support that. Especially for people who have tried everything from your run of the mill SSRIs to electroshock therapy.

Fify. Anybody who donates to the cause can buy themselves a politician. It's legalized bribery. That's why weed is still illegal.

I've heard of this as well but never had the guts to try it. Basically you have to swallow a bunch of fish oil (like 20 caps) then you huff off brand bug repellent

The omega 3 fatty acids in the fish oil allow for rapid absorption of the active ingredient in the bug spray

This actually is brilliant. ADD/ADHD is a result of the brain's need for stimulation. Amphetamines provide that stimulation resulting in increased focus and calm.

We've had a natural cure for depression for thousands of years that a doctor would get arrested for prescribing. It's called alcohol

Weed>>>>>>>alcohol

Alcohol is a depressant that can cause withdrawals, destroy your brain, liver, and stomach, and make you violent and incapable of making decisions, and too much of it at one time can kill you. It also has to be produced, distilled, cut, and bottled.

Weed makes you happy. Occasionally paranoid and hungry, is not addictive, cannot kill you, has no adverse side effects, and is just a plant that grows.

I hate out government.

They're talking microdoses of ketamine, not the amount that gets you flying. I'm usually skeptical of Big Pharma, but this is something that has promise. It has helped people with depression that nothing else would touch.

Well, yeah. If you actually have adhd Adderall has a completely different effect on you than someone who doesn't.

Just reeling over Norco going schedule 2. But ketamine will improve depression. No shite!!?

There is quite a bit of research showing psychedelics, which ketamine can be, help with depression. Hydrocodone also can help short term depression but it was moved to schedule 2 because it can be highly addictive. These two drugs are nothing alike and ketamine for depression would most likely be used in a medical setting under the supervision of a professional. To compare these drugs is silly.

It is nothing like prescribing speed for ADD and your statement shows how ignorant you are about drugs and how they work. Obviously amphetamines are WAY over prescribed, especially when it comes to kids, but they do work and they have nothing to do with using ketamine to treat severe depression.

Here is an article for you to check out so you can learn something about the subject and there are many more if you care to use google. LINK

Alcohol is a depressant. It is responsible for making many cases of mild depression spiral downward into suicidal depression. Legalize weed. It will always give you perspective on life if used moderately and not abused. It's a much more enjoyable and interesting mood altering substance too.

Ketamine is cat tranquilizer, is it not? That's what I always heard. I also heard it makes your appendages feel like rubber bands.

I see it being over prescribed. Everything new is. However, it is truly kept schedule 1 and hence very restricted, I understand how it could help those worst cases.

But there isn't big money in that. Works for one? Bet it works for all. Studies start on outpatients. Then GP clinic settings.

It's a stretch but rename ketamine and or combine it with an old SSRI. Combo med

Can your mom embroider that on a throw pillow? Keep it with other useless little tidbits?
