He probably has to learn how to greet customers, how to properly scoop and serve the ice cream, any cleaning and maintenance duties while on shift, closing duties when the shop closes, how to operate the cash register, process coupons, do discounts, stocking and resupply

BR was my first job. There's more to a proper scoop than you think. It has to be within a certain range of mass for the store to be profitable.

When you work at a place like this you have to know where all the utensils and dishes and shite go and how to clean and stock shite. Work cash registers and I'm sure they have techniques and recipes you gotta learn.
