Spending a day/night there soon. Last time I was there it seemed like every bar was a top 40 honky tonk country bar.

Any cool straight up sports bars downtown with good beer and tvs galore?

You just need to accept the country/honky tonk spirit and itll be a blast. When in rome and such.

But I do always enjoy hitting up the saucer and the area around the gulch

Baileys on Broadway is your best bet or The Pub in the Gulch. Tennessee Brew Works has a good TV set up as well.

No strip clubs, no sports bars, Bro country.

Nashville sounds terrible.

Baileys is prolly the best straight up sports bar. Tin Roof, Rippys, piranhas. I've heard bar lines in the new Omni hotel is awesome.

Jed's is really good, it's about a five minute drive down west end.

many of the bars aren't sports bars, but are still better than some sports bars I've been to.

Oh yeah, Broadway Brewhouse is good too

Not 100% true sports bar. Flying Saucer if your a beer enthusiast. Tin Roof and Harp & Fiddle off Demonbruen are good spots. Gulch has a decent Irish Pub as well. Top Golf has had crazy delays but its full steam ahead now and will be the alternative country spot in downtown.

Double dog is awesome. Watched Saints game there in October. Plus, you can bring your pup (if you sit on patio)
